In case you have never heard of it…. Alicia Keys and Swizz Beats tied the know last weekend. She can NO LONGER be referred to as the side chick. Yayyy for Lish..*SideEye*… Anyway She and her new hubby were seen on their honeymoon with Queen Latifah and Her boo??? ::NEVERHEARDOFIT::
I must say pregnat Alicia look gorgeous. Her skin is glowing wonderfully. and Queen looks just like Cleo from set it off… I love me some Queen Latifah but these pics are semi weird to me. Don’t know why … love is a beautiful thing and so are flings …. I GUESS :-/

Alicia Keys Preggers! First Comes Marriage Then Comes Baby…

….well this might be true if we do the math right. Lets see, Alicia Keys Rep confirmed that she is indeed 4 months pregant with her first child. So if she and her fiance (Swizz Beatz) can tie the knots some times before November then they will have the fairytale love story we all dream of. Well if you overlook the fact that they were dating while he was married to Mashonda and had to deal with a messy divorce and all the rumors that come with that….but yea still, skip all that and its just PERFECT …. CONGRATS!

This news came last night and the Black Ball in London, which benefits Keys’s Keep a Child Alive charity.

“They’re very happy,” says a friend of the couple, while reps confirm to PEOPLE the nuptials will take place “in a private ceremony later this year.”

YAYY FOR THEM!!!! Lord please don’t give that baby Swizz’s nose o_O

Mashonda On Swizz Beatz & Alicia Keys: “Only a certain type of woman would sleep with a married man”

Now that Alicia Keys and Stone Mountain High alum Swizz Beatz have appeared in public as an official couple, his wife Mashonda has decided to give her two cents:

“Unfortunately, my divorce is not final, the paperwork hasn’t been signed by the judge, and so therefore, we are still legally married. Not that I’m proud of that, (this process has been hell on earth) but divorces take time.”

As for Swizz’s recently released interview with DJ Enuff, where the producer claims he was unhappy with his wife for years, Mashonda had this to say:

“Our marriage and our family was never respected, nor has it been a concern to the parties involved. Both of them have been extremely determined to disregard the fact that I am a human being with feelings, a mother, and the woman whom was there when this man was sick, down, and without money or fame. Amazing how people forget!”

“I recently saw a video of his, his words completely took me by surprise. It was an awful demonstration of lies and tales. All in the name of ’saving face’… I believe the two of them are meant for each other. Only a certain type of woman would sleep with a married man, and only a certain type of man would abandon his family for another woman. I guess they are ‘equals.’ Those were his words on that video.”

While Mashonda still seems hurt by the affair and Alicia and Swizz’s complete disregard for her feelings, she seems to be dealing with the divorce very maturely. She ended her conversation with this:

“The past 12 years of my life with this man has been a complete learning experience and I’m proud to say that I am a better woman today, because of it…Fortunately, I’m able to walk away with a prize or two. My self esteem and my son. My focus is my son, coupled with figuring out a way to make this all make sense to him at the end of the day, so that he can be a great man. I seriously hope people can learn a thing or two from all of this. It’s a disease to family growth and human behavior.”

OH, WOW!!!!! I must say, I Kind of Agree with Mashonda on this! He did sort of bash her in that interview last week saying he was unhappy for 10 years. (AND YET YOU LET ONE YEAR OF UNHAPPINESS TURNS INTO TEN? ::NEVERHEARDOFIT::)

Last night during the Alicia Keys concert at Madison Square Garden in NYC the crowd was suprised when Beyonce appeared to perform ‘Put It In A Love Song’ with Alicia. The audience went BANANAS! Jay-Z ended the night by performing Empire State of Mind with Ms. Keys. WHAT A GREAT SUPRISE!. I love all three of them.
Jay-Z and Bey in one night would have had me trying to catch my breath. WHOO HOO!!

Last Night Alicia Keyes hosted Gotham Magazine’s Annual Gala at Capitale and had Mr. Swizz as her arm piece. This might be the first time they have been out to a big event like this as an official couple before this everything about them was hearsay (besides the paparazzi shots of them kissing). I must say they looked stunning but I have never heard of Swizzy not knowing how to dreass. HE STAY FRESH!…

Mashonda and Swizz Beats seem extremely happy together as they celebrated their son’s third birthday at FAO Schwatz in NYC this past Friday. Little Kaseem Jr. was all smiles as he took pictures with his parents in his John Galliano blazer with his fly Louis Vuitton Shoes. What a HAPPY FAMILY !!!! You almost forget that Swizz Beats is shacking up with singer/songwriter Alicia Keys while he is still very married to Mashonda. ::CONFUSEDLOOK:: Could this little family outing mean that Swizz is over Ms. Keys???? NEVERHEARDOFIT………

In fact Swizz Beats and Ms. Alicia Keys are very much in love. They were seen at M2 this past weekend in New York City to celebrate the release of her new album release, “The Element of Freedom”

After days of fake album covers and art work hitting the web, Alicia Keys released the official cover for “Element of Freedom”.

The CD will drop on Dec. 15^th and will include her hit singles “Doesn’t mean anything” and “Try sleeping with a broken heart”, as well as “Empire state of mind 2” feat Jay-Z

It has also been rumored that Beyonce will lend some of her vocals on the album as well *interesting*

“Empire state of the mind” is officially the NATIONAL anthem for the state of New York!!! Jay-Z made history performing on Wednesday night after the Yankees won the World Series!!! I guess he really did make the Yankee hat more famous than a Yankee!!! DAMN! Congrats Jigga Man!
