Last night NYC’s Webster Hall packed in hundreds of people and 42 music producers, who out of about 2,000 producers were chosen to battle for the opportunity to head to Atlanta for a filmed studio session with Shady Recording Artist Yelawolf

Team E.C.S.T.A.S.Y.’s Nova K stood out of the pack last night displaying his undeniable talent and walked away number 4 of 2,000! Not too bad! With heads turning and nodding from all 3 judges there is no doubt that you will be blasting your radios, Ipod’s and car stereo’s to something he’s produced, and we mean soon! KATY PERRY IS LIKE AN ARTICHOKE?!?!?

*sideEye* …. Weird but this is how pop artist Katie Perry described her career in an recent interview with Vanity Fair. She compares her career to an artichoke by telling Vanity Fair’s editor, “People might think that the leaves are tasty and buttered up and delicious, and they don’t even know that there’s something magical hidden at the base of it. There’s a whole other side [of me] that people didn’t know existed.”

In the interview she describers her very strict and religious upbringing and how her family reacts to her not so religious career.

“I didn’t have a childhood,” she says, adding that her mother never read her any books except the Bible, and that she wasn’t allowed to say “deviled eggs” or “Dirt Devil.” Perry wasn’t even allowed to listen to secular music and relied on friends to sneak her CDs. “Growing up, seeing Planned Parenthood, it was considered like the abortion clinic,” she tells Robinson. “I was always scared I was going to get bombed when I was there…. I didn’t know it was more than that, that it was for women and their needs. I didn’t have insurance, so I went there and I learned about birth control.”

“I think sometimes when children grow up, their parents grow up,” Perry says of her evangelical-minister parents. “Mine grew up with me. We coexist. I don’t try to change them anymore, and I don’t think they try to change me. We agree to disagree. They’re excited about [my success]. They’re happy that things are going well for their three children and that they’re not on drugs. Or in prison.” Perry’s mother confirms that she is proud of her daughter’s success, telling Robinson, “The Lord told us when I was pregnant with her that she would do this.”

“I come from a very non-accepting family, but I’m very accepting,” Perry says of her religious beliefs as an adult. “Russell is into Hinduism, and I’m not [really] involved in it. He meditates in the morning and the evening; I’m starting to do it more because it really centers me. [But] I just let him be him, and he lets me be me.” Perry says she didn’t stick with the mold growing up. “I have always been the kid who’s asked ‘Why?’ In my faith, you’re just supposed to have faith. But I was always like…why?” she says. “At this point, I’m just kind of a drifter. I’m open to possibility…. My sponge is so big and wide and I’m soaking everything up and my mind has been radically expanded. Just being around different cultures and people and their opinions and perspectives. Just looking into the sky.”

Remember when President Obama was running for President? Diddy was one of his biggest supporters. Encouraging everyone to go out and vote for him in his VOTE or DIE campaign. I love the president like most of us. I just want the president to do better. There’s a difference between us voting for somebody and us believing in somebody. He’s the person that we believed in so I pray night and day that he understands how God ordained his presidency. I feel there was a promise made to God to look after people that was less fortunate, and [many] of those people are African-American…

The President should choose doing the right thing, even if it isn’t easy politically. It’s something he might not get reelected for, but we elected him. He owes us. I’d rather have a black president that was man enough to say that he was doing something for black people have one term than a president who played the politics game have two terms.

According to Life & Style Magazine, Kim is definitely preggers. The Real Housewives of Atlanta star announced today she is pregnant to her new NFL player boyfriend.
The reality TV star, who lists her age as 32, has been dating Kroy Biermann, 25, four five months ::CONFUSEDLOOK::. (I must be hiding under a rock)

‘I was surprised!’ Kim admits. ‘While it wasn’t planned, God clearly has a bigger and better plan for us and we’re excited.’

‘I’m the happiest I’ve ever been,’ she tells this week’s issue of America’s Life&Style magazine.

Earlier this week Willow Smith (daughter to Will and Jada Pinkett Smith) released her new single “WHIP MY HAIR” and was absolutely astounding. To see a nine year old with this much talent and just starting out only makes one wonder what else she has in store.
She is signed to Jay Z’s Roc Nation record label and with a HIT song from day one I am sure Jay is proud to represent her.

Yesterday she visited the Ryan Seacrest radio show grinning ear to ear and smacking gum. She seems so confident and well spoken. Good Job Will and Jada. THIS CHILD IS AMAZING.. Check the Video below to see her interview and hear Jay Z’s comments on why he wanted to sign her.

T.I. and TINY Sent To Jail For Drugs…..

Maybe there is something behind bars that is making T.I. want to get back there quick because I have ::NEVERHEARDOF:: one doing dumb stuff like smoking weed in a car knowing how much of a microscope they are under.. **SHAKING MY HEAD**

Last last night/early morning TMZ gave the first scoop on this story. here is what they said.

TMZ has learned they were arrested tonight and booked for the alleged possession of a controlled substance. Law enforcement sources tell us L.A. County Sheriff’s deputies pulled over the multi-platinum selling rapper and his wife in a Maybach on Sunset Boulevard around 10:30PM. Deputies say they smelled marijuana, and after searching the vehicle they arrested T.I. and Tameka. The couple just got married on July 30 in Miami, and T.I. — real name Clifford Harris Jr. — is on probation after doing seven months in prison on federal weapons charges. We’re told T.I. and Tameka are in custody right now. Bail amount is $10,000.

(UPDATE THIS MORNING) T.I and Tiny were released around 4:00am this morning.

T.I. just premiered the number one movie at the box office. Perhaps he was riding around celebrating the numbers. STIL T.I. SMOKE AT HOME GEEZ… (not that I am condoning smoking or drugs) #IMJUSTSAYIN! **SideEye**
