UNSUNG ARTIST OF THE WEEK: VITAL

I wanted to my readers to check out this AMAZING new artist. His name is VITAL and his music is something you have truly never heard before. I fell in love with the first note. If you are tired of hearing the same songs switched around you will fall in love too.

Prior to starting his solo career Vital wanted to be behind the music scene, writing and contributing by recording demos for other musicians in the Bay Area. After being persuaded by the many people he met, he released two EP’s in the genre of Hip Hop and R&B.  “I never found my true self while doing what the society expected me to do, I never felt at home doing what’s expected”. Wanting to experiment more with the music he felt was a better reflection of himself he went into the studio to record his first solo album in the summer of 2008. Now, almost two years later he is anxiously waiting to let the world hear his music.
Vitals first release will be out in April 2010. “The Vital EP” consists of 5 songs and will be released through Black Sky Recordings.

Vital will start a mini tour promoting his EP spring ‘10. The first leg
of the tour will be in San Francisco, Oakland and San Jose, Calif.
